camp

On Sunday I will be leaving for two weeks of camp. Now this is not camp that is by the lake fishing and watersking. But I will be working with youth and helping out. The first week, I am going to be a couseler and then the second week, I am going to be camp director, so I have allot to do and am behind on allot of things. Well I will see you in two weeks. I would leave some funny witty comment for all of you, but I am to far behind to even do that to. bummer

two tickets to awesome town

My week in Santa Cruz was freaking awesome. The house that we stayed at was amazing, and also used the hot tube many times. It was just really cool to be with my family for that long of a time. I am so happy that I was able to go.

Of course the week ended with the midnight showing of the awesome amazing new Batman movie.

me in Dodgeball, Im out.

Like a slug, it took a long time coming, but I finally am able to go to Santa Cruz for a week. Yes, get out of the ungodly heat. But the best part is that I will be with my family. I love hanging out with them. So I don't know if I will have internet there, or I will see you all in a week. Batman on Friday, oh ya.

The mighty Eric

Last week I gave my first workshop, so i needed a modle for the example shots, and Eric said that he would help out. Here are some of them, but I put my special touch to them, photoshop. Of course these are not the ones I used for the workshop.

These last two are Eric and his awesome girlfriend Stephanie (sorry about the spelling). She meet up with us later and this is another one from a different night, I just wanted to add it in. Eric and Stephanie come to the youth group I help out at, Junkyard, and are both a very big blessing to have there.

Happy 4th

Happy 4th to all you awesome people out there looking at this. For the first time in 18 years of living in a small town, I finally went inside the football filed and watched the fireworks. Now ask any photographer that if you shoot fireworks, you have shot them all. I mean there is not much you can do to be creative. So I sat there and after two shots of just holding on the tripod, I said screw it and tried to start painting with light. I think I cam up with some real cool ones. The hardest part about shooting fireworks is stopping yourself from watching them. Just awesome, like that scene in "The Sandlot"

All of them where played with, meaning adjusting the levels and saturation, this is the only one that I tried to make something wierd with.
