Pigeon Mix 2

So here are some more of the Pigeon John show, I am going to try to get into the Cursive show tonight that is sold out.

Holy crap man

So Pigeon was amazing on Thursday night. This was the third time I saw him in like two years, and he is still awesome. I had so much fun working on the pictuers, and I hope that you enjoy them. I will be posting more. But wait, Cursive on Thursday, holy crap man can't wait.

Davey Rockit

So Pigeon was in town last Thursday Night, and it was amazing, it was like an awesome party, and I was invited. Allot of friends where there and they will be in later posts, but this one goes to Davet Rockit who was the DJ for Pigeon John. I asked and he let me take some pictuers of him. He is the first DJ that I have ever gotten to shoot. I thougth that he was going to just play the music for John, but he got up and scratched and mixed, and even did some tricks, he was awesome on the wheels of steel.

The Longs Drug Mix, part 1

I was cleaning out my CD a couple of nights ago, and came across a bunch of CD that came from Longs Drug Store that I had developed a long time ago. I thought that some cool pics where in there so here goes the first Mix, becasue there is a second mix to this. It is wierd to look at some of these, becasue these places no longer exist, allot of construction goin on in Hanford. Oh, Pigeon John tonight, can't wait.

Eso-charis

So, if you listen to the musical band 'Norma Jean", no, not the actress. Then you might not know that the screamer for them use to scream for this band called Eso-Charis. Which happens to be one of those band that changed how and what I listen to. In 1999, I rode with two amazing friends halfway across the contry for a concert, and for me was to watch this bands last show, it was amazing. This is one of the greatest picture that I have taken, just becasue it means allot to me.

The mighty Bakka and Taylor

On Saturday, I took engagment pictuers of my awesome friends. It was really cool, becasue they let me chose the place and I choose this really old rustic place called China Ally, I think that the place worked out great. S.A.D. and Skiball

Singles Awearness Day was alright. My dad had surgery on Wednesday, everything went really well, so I spent Thursday hanging out with him. I would have chased a woman, but she is just so fast. Someone to play ski ball with, that would be awesome.

Think about it.

So lets say that you are a ninja, (like I am) and you are running (I like to fly) around these windmills. All of a sudden you lose your sword and you don't know what to do. Well, let me tell you what I would do being such a good ninja teacher. First thing you would think to do is jump up and tear off a blade from the wind mill and use that. You could, but the correct answer, you use your hands, your a freaking ninja.

Fire, Fire, Fire,

I have a couple of friends that are in the fire academy right now. They asked me if I would come to their classes and make a slide show for their graduation. Of course I agreed, but didn't really think I was going to take pictuers of fire. Some cool stuff to come.

Throw people into the mix

Some of the last posts where black and white landscapes, so for this one, I thought I might throw some people into the mix. Of course you have the mighty Pigeon John, and then you have the mighty mighty Josh that is the amazing prodigy. And then the last one. Lets just say, if you are hanging around back stage at a show playing a piano, well don't make a dumb face. He is lucky I didn't do any photoshop to it, but hey, thanks for poesing.

The reason, the Passion

Last Saturday, I was able to see my friends band play. They are called "Done For Good". This band has some very special place in my heart. Back in the day when I use to hold a microphone to my mouth and scream my heart out, one of them was behind me on the guitar, and the others where in other bands playing either before us or after us. These guys are an amazing band and I am so proud of them on how far they have come.

My passion in photography and the reason I shoot, is music, and being able to take pictures of my friends is an amazing blessing. these guys are a reason why I do what I do.
