A cable car off track

Friday night as I was finishing up my shift at work, Ron came in and told me the band that he was in was playing their first show that night. When he told me this, I was really happy because I was going to drive to Fresno and now I didn't have to, awesome. Also, Bobbie and Mike are in this band, and they are amazing people. A time ago, I worked on Boobie and Mike's wedding, and then worked with Bobbie at Hot Topic, and still to this day, she was one of the coolest bosses I ever worked with.

They set up and started to play. The band has no drummer and Mike plans all the drumming on his computer, which sounded really cool. there was about a thirty second intro of music, and the band was getting ready to play. When they hit the first note, all the electricity went out on that side of the room. Everyone looked around for two seconds and then started to laugh and cheer, it was an awesome time.

To be honest, I didn't really know what to expect form them, it was their first show. But being honest here, I was really impressed, I loved the music, the songs where put together really awesome, and they did have a really good stage presence. I am looking forward to seeing them after they work out a few bugs and don't blow a fuse. Also looking forward when I get to really take pictuers of them with out my little digimon.

Mixing hard or Hardly mixing

A couple of weeks ago a friend woke me up from calling me, and asked what program I use to make videos, I told him and went back to sleep knowing that I had a job. He called me on Tuesday asking me to come to his office where he asked me to make a video for his wifes birthday.

"When do you need it," I asked.
"Tommorrow," he replied. "and here are 200 pictures that need to be scanned for the movie."

Let's just say that I had a never ending night, but I am sure that anyone in my profession (Arobic instructor) know what I am talking about. I turned in the video and I think he was holding back the tears. It was an awesome video. Well
here is a mix of things that have been on my computer screen.

I hate it when your finger accidently hits the cap button and you type a long sentence to fiND OUT THAT YOU HAVE BEEN TYPING IN ALL CAPS. Darn it.

Blaine where are you?

When I lived in the promise land (aka Santa Barbara), I had these two really cool roommates, one of them is moving to Austin right now, doing something really cool. I don't know what that is, but he is always doing something really cool. The other one is somewhere in the world right now travleing with his wife. Go to Blaine in my links and see his stuff from the trip, it is amazing. But when I was living with them two, Blaine had this little serise he was always doing called freaks. He taught me the method, and even thought people like them, I found out that if you are a young girl, you will hate me for taking your picture at camp and then changing it around, and putting it on my myspace, ha, sorry Aria. Well, the two are of the famous Ted from CITB, from last week skating in fresno and just some more to fill the post.

A cold night in Fresno

As I was watching videos on you tube, and should have been doing work, I get a call from the awesome Ted. He said that I could tag along with some of the guys as they skate fresno. I spent most of the time trying to buy a new flash card because I forgot to put them in my camera bag, idiot. But what time we did skate, it was fun, and awesome just hanging out.

Couchs where not meant to sleep on.

Easter this year was a hard time to get threw seeing as how I hate sleeping on couches ( i never get a good sleep) and I had to drive threw LA Traffic (weird how I want to move there). But with those two small things I had an amazing time. Just a thought that popped in my head, I wonder when Jesus rose from the dead, if he ever wondered if he wanted to sleep in.

I drove down to LA Saturday night after a photo session to my yonger brothers new place. Then in the morning we awoke early and drove down to San Diego to my older brothers place, went to church and just hung out the rest of the day. My older sister in-law possiably made the best Easter lunch I ever had. Which bring up the point that I am blessed to have two amazing sister in-laws. It was just awesome to sit around and play with my neice and nephew, blow bubbles, play that new crappy smash brothers game, put on fake mustaches, and compete in the worlds longest game of red light, green lights. I am blessed to have an awesome family.

I think that I have already talked about my awesome time in Vegas a couple of weeks ago. A big thanks to Bakka and Taylor Bringard for the amazing time. I am trying to go down to San Deagio for Easter, and you know what that means. A month of posts of the amazing Josh (Nephew) and Jenna (Neice). I want to hang out with them so much.

Who cares, it was fun stomp all over Hanford's building while little people ran away from me, and then some little girl signs a song and Mathra comes and we fight. Cursive

I saw Cursive, I saw Cursive, I saw Cursive.

Cursive is one of those bands that not changed my life, but one of those bands that helped open doors into other music in my life. I have been listening to them probably sence 98, and really love there albums. Domestica I think is the best album, but some of the new tracks that they played where cool too.
