My real first attempt at graphic design. Ofcourse your first attempt you think it is the crap, but months down the road you take another look at it and you where wondering what the world was I thinking.

The thorn in my side

This is Andrew, he is one of the kids that goes to my youth group. He is a cool kid, I pray for him, and he has had some very hard times, but he is able to still put a smile on his face. When we took these pictures, we where in an run downed house, I was takeing pictures of him and I see threw the veiw finder the look of terror on his face and he yells, "who is that?" Of course I turn so fast around and ready to run that it hurts. I look back at him and he is just sitting there laughing. Funny?

My first show

So, I had my first photo show opeing this last firday. There was suppose to be some notice in the paper about it, but they never printed it, and I reallt didn't push it, so nobody came. Only for some close firends, and it was just a cool time hanging out with cool friends.

The Argyle Pimps: part 1

Last week, I shot the Argyle Pimps, they are a hip hop group from LA. I havn;t really paid a listen to them until the show. Now I can't put down the CD. There are some more pictures coming soon.

So I was walking threw my kitchen and saw that my cat was sitting on the window, so I grabed my camera and before I got the settings right I was able to shot one picture before he ran off. I never eally looked at the picture until I saw my reflection in the window. The only thing I did to the picture was change the levels and bumped up the saturation.

The season of family

Hey sorry that it has been a long time posting, I am sorry to all my loyal fans (my brother jon, blaine, david, and Mom, well I am not to sure about mom). So the Christmas season was really cool, I had an awesome time playing cardboard tube ninja with my nephew. The honest awesome thing was that my neice now lets me hold her with out screaming and not knowing who I am, next step, saying uncle stephen. Awesome.

Failed Christmas cards

I guess the joy of being the famliy photographer is that you get the joy of making the christmas card for the parents. Well that is this time of year, And here are the first failed ones that the clients (parents) did not like. I can't see why they didn't like them.

When I was down visiting my brother he had a Poker tournament to rais funds for his snowboard club. I had a real fun time, even though I sucked at it, like real bad.

Those pics you take before the wedding

So I was down in LA last weekend doing many things. Poker tournament, wedding, hanging out with friends, sleeping on couches, watching sunsets by myself, sleeping on floors, and hanging out with awesome Bryan Silver. I did some engagement shoots for my brother and Kristin. We walked into this place by Cal Fullerton, in there was a sign that said "professional photographers must pay $100 to shoot here. "I was like no way dude", seriously I said that, so we still shot there, I was just really carefully. Of course there was like 6 different photographers in there, maybe I shouldn't have added that in. Aaaahhhh the lack of sleep.
